Netflix Lands Exclusive FIFA World Cup 2030 Rights in Spain and Andorra
Netflix will show every match of the FIFA World Cup 2030 for subscribers in Spain and Andorra, with live pregame, halftime and post-game coverage.
Netflix has secured exclusive broadcast rights to every match of the FIFA World Cup 2030 for its subscribers in Spain and Andorra, the streaming platform said.
The deal covers full live coverage of the tournament, including pregame, halftime and post-game shows, along with daily roundups.
The 2030 edition will mark the 100th anniversary of the FIFA World Cup. Spain, the defending champion of the 2026 tournament, will host the 2030 World Cup together with Morocco and Portugal.
The agreement extends Netflix's push into live sports. Netflix entered live sports in 2024 with two NFL Christmas Day games, and later began a partnership with WWE that includes broadcasts of Monday Night Raw, WWE SmackDown and WrestleMania.
Netflix is also set to be the exclusive home of the FIFA Women's World Cup in the US and Canada in 2027 and 2031. In September 2026, Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria told CNBC that an event for Netflix is "buzzy, cultural, zeitgeist – that really sort of unmissable moment".
