Netflix has named Naomi Bulochnikov-Paul as VP of Communications, Series, putting her in charge of TV communications. She starts on October 18 and will report to Netflix Chief Communications Officer Dani Dudeck.
The hire comes a day after Bulochnikov-Paul announced she was leaving Disney after an eight-year tenure, where she most recently served as EVP of Communications for Disney Entertainment Television.
At Disney, she led communications across a broad portfolio of TV and streaming brands, including ABC Entertainment, ABC News, Disney Kids & Family, Disney Television Studios, FX, Hulu Originals, and National Geographic Content.
In 2023, as EVP, Publicity, and Head of Communications for Disney General Entertainment, she handled executive communications for Dana Walden throughout Walden's time as co-chairman of Disney Entertainment.
This is not her first stop at Netflix: she left Disney's Freeform for a brief nine-month stint at the streamer in 2018 before returning to Disney.
The appointment follows another recent communications hire at Netflix, with Warner Bros.' Katie Martin Kelly brought in as VP of Communications, Film. Deadline reported the news.
