Disney+ unveils a trailer for its six-episode Japanese horror series Night Tales Club, with Takayuki Yamada starring and seven directors attached.
A new trailer for the Japanese supernatural horror series Night Tales Club has been released and confirms the six-episode show will premiere on Disney+ in January 2027, according to comingsoon.net. Each episode tells a different story.
The trailer centres on Takayuki Yamada as the businessman Zenichi Hojo, a character he plays across the whole series. Hojo offers 20 million yen in gold to anyone who can provide proven evidence of anomalies the show calls bugs, and sets three conditions for the offer.
The series is directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa, Takashi Shimizu, Shinzo Katayama, Yukiko Sode, Yuichiro Sakashita, Yosuke Nakamura and Kenji Nakajima. Yusuke Wakabayashi and Teruhisa Yamamoto serve as producers.
Sawamura, the original author of the source material, wrote the screenplay.
