Nintendo Releases 40th Anniversary Mario Stop Motion Shorts

Nintendo has released new stop motion shorts celebrating the 40th anniversary of Super Mario, according to Screen Rant. The first is a 40th anniversary short featuring Mario and Toad that runs 52 seconds and uses classic Mario music. A second short, titled Shell Scramble, shows Mario and Toad playing with a green shell.
Both shorts are part of the branding for Nintendo's My Mario product line. Select My Mario products are available at Nintendo New York, Nintendo San Francisco, and select retailers.
My Mario began in the past few years as a collection of products aimed at young children and parents, including building block amiibo. Among the items is a 30-piece Mario & Friends wood block set that retails for about $129.99 USD, though it can nearly double in price on eBay.
