The inaugural Ojai Documentary Film Festival will take place October 26-30 at the Ojai Playhouse in Ojai, California, organizers announced. The event stems from a collaboration between Hotel El Roblar owners Eric Goode and Jeremy McBride and Ojai Playhouse owner David Berger.
Goode and McBride are the filmmakers behind the docuseries Tiger King and Chimp Crazy. Their partnership with Berger brings a new documentary showcase to the historic Playhouse.
The lineup includes Alex Gibney's Musk, distributed by Bleecker Street, and Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim's You Can See Everything, distributed by A24.
