New making-of and scene stills for the film 'Onee-chan no Midorikun' have been released, ahead of its December 4, 2026 nationwide opening in Japan.

New behind-the-scenes photographs and a scene still from the film 'Onee-chan no Midorikun' were released, showing a member of the idol group timelesz in his first starring film role, according to cinemacafe.net. The film is scheduled to open nationwide in Japan on December 4, 2026.

The making-of photos show the actor checking a monitor with a serious expression, and speaking with the director while interacting with a horse for his role as a veterinarian. A separate scene still shows the character Midorikun gazing sorrowfully at Momo.

The film is an adaptation of the manga of the same name, which has surpassed 1.6 million copies in cumulative circulation. The manga is serialized in the magazine Bessatsu Margaret, and the original author is Amu Meguro.

The producer revealed that the actor was perfect for Midorikun in appearance and character, and even had a mole in the same position on his face. Filming overlapped with timelesz's live tour, making for a busy schedule. Staff also said they never once saw him holding a script and that he hardly ever made mistakes.
