The horror film Other Mommy, starring Jessica Chastain in dual roles, is now playing in theaters, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The release places it in the marketplace against Aaron Sorkin's The Social Reckoning, which also opens now.
Other Mommy is directed by Rob Savage. The film is based on Josh Malerman's 2024 novel Incidents Around the House. It was originally titled Incidents Around the House before Savage changed the title to Other Mommy.
The film's trailer debuted in theaters ahead of The Odyssey and drew attention for its jump scares.
The release also brings Chastain back alongside Sorkin, whom she worked with on his 2017 film Molly's Game.
