The Expanded Edition adds more than 30 pages to the original book. It is written by Patrick McHale, the creator of Over the Garden Wall, and Sean Edgar.
Among the new material is an interview with Melanie Lynskey, who voices Beatrice, the bluebird character in the series. An excerpt released with the announcement shows early character artwork, including sketches of Greg's frog and earlier designs of Beatrice as a bee.
