The Guillermo del Toro film returns to North American theaters in 3D with a new color grade and a Dolby Atmos mix.

A 3D version of Guillermo del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth will open in North American theaters on October 9, 2026, according to IndieWire. The release also carries a new color grade and a Dolby Atmos sound mix.

The 3D conversion was overseen by Aaron Parry of SDFX Studios, who worked on it with del Toro.

Sound editor and designer Scott Gershin supervised the new mix, which adds more backgrounds and foley.

Del Toro wrote and directed Pan's Labyrinth 20 years ago. Parry had previously worked with del Toro on Pacific Rim.
