Paranormal Activity, the Broadway stage chiller inspired by the Paramount film franchise, has been extended for eight additional weeks at the August Wilson Theatre. The production will now run through February 28, 2027.
The show stars Cher Álvarez and Travis A. Knight as the spooked couple at the center of the story. Deadline reported the extension.
Last week the production played to 98% of capacity and grossed $910,556.

From Boston to Broadway
The play began previews on August 14 and opened on August 25, following a limited pre-Broadway engagement at the Emerson Colonial Theatre in Boston in July. Earlier stops included Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Center Theatre Group at The Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles, Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington D.C., and American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco.
A separate production at the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre in Toronto ran from June 9 through July 5. The show premiered at the Leeds Playhouse in the UK before transferring to the Ambassadors Theatre in the West End, where it is currently selling tickets through Saturday, November 7.
