Paul Bettany: I Don't Know Marvel's Children's Crusade Plans

Paul Bettany says he is unaware of any Marvel plans to adapt The Children's Crusade storyline after VisionQuest, adding that future MCU decisions are above his pay grade.

Paul Bettany said in an interview that he does not know whether Marvel will adapt The Children's Crusade Scarlet Witch storyline after VisionQuest. According to comingsoon.net, Bettany said future Marvel Cinematic Universe plans are above his pay grade and that nobody tells him about them.

Bettany is returning as Vision in VisionQuest, which premieres on October 14. He also said he did not know Vision would die in Infinity War until the day he shot the scene.

In the comics, The Children's Crusade storyline features the Young Avengers rescuing an amnesiac Wanda from Doctor Doom in Latveria.

Recent Avengers: Doomsday promotional materials led fans to theorize that Wanda will return in the movie, though there have been no official reports about Elizabeth Olsen reprising her role as Scarlet Witch in Avengers: Doomsday.

Avengers: Doomsday features returning MCU stars including Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal and Paul Rudd. It arrives in theaters on December 18.
