Peacock Adds Blade Trilogy to Streaming in October

Peacock's October library update includes the Blade trilogy, bringing Wesley Snipes' vampire hunter films to the streamer.

Peacock has revealed the list of films and TV shows coming to its library in October, and the Blade trilogy is among the titles headed to the streaming service.

The three films, which star Wesley Snipes as the half-vampire vampire hunter, will join Peacock's October lineup. The trilogy launched with Blade in 1998 and ran through 2004.

The character has a long history beyond the screen. Blade first appeared in 1973 in The Tomb of Dracula #10, and the 1998 live-action adaptation turned him into a film franchise that grossed over $417 million worldwide.

More recently, Marvel Studios announced a Blade movie starring Mahershala Ali in 2022, but the project was eventually canceled after production issues. Snipes also returned to the role in a supporting part in Deadpool & Wolverine.

Peacock has not specified an exact date for when the trilogy will be available.
