Philo Adds Bravo Under New NBCUniversal Carriage Deal

The deal also brings a selection of NBCU FAST channels to Philo, with Bravo launching as a live channel before on-demand programming follows.

Philo has signed a carriage deal with NBCUniversal that adds Bravo to its streaming lineup, according to deadline.com. Bravo will launch as a live channel on the service, with on-demand programming to follow later.

The agreement also brings a selection of NBCUniversal FAST channels to Philo. Philo currently offers a $25-a-month subscription plan and a $33 tier that includes HBO Max, AMC+, Discovery+ and All Reality.

Philo CEO Mike Keyserling said the carriage agreement had been in the works for some time and described Bravo as a missing piece in Philo's reality-heavy lineup. He also said NBCUniversal's recent distribution deals, such as with Google and YouTube, played a role in the agreement.

Amy Geary, EVP of NBCUniversal Platform Distribution & Partnerships, said Philo subscribers will be able to enjoy Bravo shows.

Philo says about half of its subscribers identify reality TV as their primary genre, and nearly 85% of active subscribers watch reality programming.

An independent bundle

Philo became a general consumer offering in 2017 after operating for several years as a targeted service on college campuses. As of last year, the company reported 1.3 million subscribers, a 20% increase over 2024 levels, and annual revenue of $450 million.
