Warner Bros. pulled Practical Magic 2 from roughly 2,100 theaters this past weekend, according to movieweb.com, clearing the way for the film's digital debut on Oct. 13.

The theater count had already fallen from a peak of 4,163 to 2,063 heading into the Oct. 2 frame. The sequel opened to $30 million on Sept. 11.

Its worldwide total stands at about $101 million.

Practical Magic was not a theatrical hit and became beloved later through home video and October cable airings, leading Warner Bros. to greenlight a sequel. The sequel had a 59 percent second-weekend drop and by early October was pulling under $3 million a weekend. It carries a $75 million production budget and a reported break-even point in the $150 million range.
