Disney Confirms New 'Princess and the Frog' TV Special
Jared Bush said the special is a complete story with new songs and members of the original cast, and is in active production.
Walt Disney Animation Studios is making a new television special set in the world of The Princess and the Frog, the studio's Chief Creative Officer Jared Bush confirmed in an interview with Collider.
Bush said the project will feature new songs and members of the original cast. He described it as a complete story told as a television special rather than an ongoing series.
According to Bush, the special is in active production and will be out to people soon. He did not give a release date.
The confirmation follows what the article describes as a shock cancellation last year, when Disney dropped a separate Princess and the Frog project.
