Rivian has introduced a "Ghostbusters Halloween Mode" feature for its vehicles, promoted with an advertisement starring Bill Murray as his Ghostbusters character Peter Venkman, according to Bleeding Cool.
The ad shows Venkman driving a custom Rivian Ecto-R1 and trapping Slimer. Gil Kenan directed the spot.
The Ghostbusters Halloween Mode is available through November 1.
Kenan previously directed the 2024 film Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. Murray's other credits include the 1993 film Groundhog Day, directed by Harold Ramis.
Elsewhere in the franchise, a new live-action film, Ghostbusters: Nightmare on 34th Street, was announced earlier this month with Josh Miller writing, and an animated series, Ghostbusters: Night Shift, is slated for Netflix for 2027.
