Ruaridh Mollica attended New York Comic Con wearing a grayish-green custom Prada suit inspired by Speed's metallic-green comic-book costume, according to an interview with Rotten Tomatoes. The actor will portray Thomas Shepherd/Tommy Maximoff in the upcoming Disney+ miniseries VisionQuest, set to premiere on October 14, 2026.
Mollica said he sent Prada pictures of Speed from the comics and asked them to make something resembling the comic books. He also wore glasses inspired by his VisionQuest character.
The character's story began in Agatha All Along, when his twin brother Billy placed his soul into the body of an orphan named Thomas Shepherd. VisionQuest follows White Vision after the events of WandaVision as he struggles to recover his memories and rediscover his humanity.
The series will also star Paul Bettany, James Spader, Emily Hampshire, James D'Arcy, Diane Morgan, Orla Brady, T'Nia Miller, Lauren Morais, and Todd Stashwick. VisionQuest marks Mollica's MCU debut.
