Brandon Sanderson said he does not judge George R.R. Martin over the long wait for The Winds of Winter, in an interview with Collider's Maggie Lovitt at FanX Salt Lake.
Sanderson said he considers both Martin and Patrick Rothfuss friends, and described Martin as an actual person behind the unfinished manuscript.
He also said his own writing psychology lends itself to slow and steady work rather than fast writing, according to the interview.
