Scrubs Sneak Peek: The Janitor Returns in Episode 'My Chief'
A new clip from Scrubs Season 2, Episode 4 shows the original Janitor bringing muffins to his son, the new custodian, and calling JD 'dead man.'
Collider exclusively released a new sneak peek clip from Scrubs Season 2, Episode 4, titled 'My Chief', on October 13, 2026. The episode centers on JD, played by Zach Braff, dealing with a prank by the new custodian.
In the clip, JD is frustrated that the new custodian is not as skilled at pranking as the original Janitor. The new custodian is the son of the original Janitor, and JD refers to him as a 'nepo baby'. The original Janitor, played by Neil Flynn, appears in the episode bringing muffins for his son and refers to JD as 'dead man'.
The new custodian, played by Darcy Michael, is nicer to JD, and the two became friends, as JD learned last season. In the original Scrubs, the Janitor tormented JD from the first episode and departed at the end of Season 8. Bill Lawrence brought the cast back for a revival earlier this year.
