Ko Ji-yong, Lee Jae-jin, Jang Su-won to Hold '젝키 THE TREE SHOW' in December
Former Sechs Kies members will meet fans on December 15–16, an event Ko Ji-yong says grew out of a summer idea for an outdoor busking fan meeting.
Former Sechs Kies members Ko Ji-yong, Lee Jae-jin and Jang Su-won will hold an event titled '젝키 THE TREE SHOW' on December 15 and 16, Ko said in an interview reported by joynews24.com.
Ko said the plan began last summer, when he and Lee Jae-jin discussed an outdoor fan meeting combined with busking for December. The idea was later developed into a dinner-show format.
The interview was Ko's first in 26 years since Sechs Kies disbanded. He debuted with the six-member boy group in 1997, and the group was one of the defining first-generation idol acts of the 1990s alongside H.O.T.
Ko stepped back from broadcast activity entirely in 2020. In 2016 he appeared with the full group on '무한도전', but he did not take part in the group's later activities.
Asked about next year's 30th anniversary of Sechs Kies, Ko said he hopes to meet fans through a reunion concert. He added that nothing has been decided or discussed regarding such a concert.
