Seth Rogen Calls Curry Barker's 'Anything But Ghosts' Better Than 'Obsession'
Rogen said in a TIME Magazine article that he has seen the upcoming horror-comedy, which hits theaters on May 7, 2027.
Seth Rogen has seen Curry Barker's next film, Anything But Ghosts, and says it is even better than Obsession, according to a TIME Magazine article. Rogen also said Barker is as good an actor as he is a director.
Anything But Ghosts is an upcoming horror-comedy directed by Barker, who co-wrote the script with Cooper Tomlinson. The film follows two fake paranormal investigators, played by Barker and Tomlinson, who face real ghosts while dealing with the consequences of their deception.
Alongside Barker and Tomlinson, the cast includes Bryce Dallas Howard, Aaron Paul, Violet McGraw and Chris Reinacher. The film arrives in theaters on May 7, 2027.
Creative approach follows 'Obsession'
At BlumFest 2026 at New York Comic Con, Barker and Tomlinson said Anything But Ghosts will follow a similar creative approach to Obsession. That earlier film was Barker's breakout, and Rogen said in the TIME Magazine piece that it showed cinematic intuition many directors will never have.
