Severance has staged another streaming resurgence and is once again among the most-watched shows on Apple TV, according to Collider.
The series stars Adam Scott and Britt Lower, with Ben Stiller among its key creative figures. It has now returned to Apple TV's upper ranks without any new episodes or a dated promotional push.
Apple TV renewed Severance for Season 3 on the day of the Season 2 finale last year. Since that finale, 18 months have passed without word on when Season 3 will return.
Season 1 of Severance premiered in 2023. Meanwhile, Apple TV's other sci-fi dramas continue to draw viewers: Season 1 of Pluribus, from creator Vince Gilligan, became the most-watched Apple TV series ever, and Apple TV has confirmed another season is coming, though no release date is known.
Silo, starring Rebecca Ferguson, premiered its third season this summer, and its fourth and final season is expected next summer.
