Sons of Anarchy Meta Sequel Legends Set With Hunnam
Charlie Hunnam and producer Jonathan Groff are developing Legends, a meta Sons of Anarchy sequel that reunites the cast at a fan convention.
A meta sequel series to Sons of Anarchy titled Legends is set to be developed by Charlie Hunnam and producer Jonathan Groff, according to Screen Rant. The project will reunite Hunnam with much of the original Sons of Anarchy cast.
The official description of Legends involves the cast of Sons of Anarchy reuniting at a fan convention, placing the series in a meta frame rather than continuing the show's original narrative.
Kurt Sutter, who created the original series, is not involved in Legends, but the facts state he has given his blessing to the project.
Sons of Anarchy aired on FX from 2008 to 2014. Its spinoff, Mayans M.C., followed. In 2018, Hunnam spoke to PEOPLE about the difficulty of saying goodbye to his character Jax Teller.
