Stallone also explained what he would change. He wants to use more of Bill Conti's music and less hip hop in the new version.
The 1990 film has long been the odd one out in the franchise. Rocky V was originally released on November 16, 1990, and holds a 31% Rotten Tomatoes score.
Stallone himself has been blunt about it before. In 2006, he told Entertainment Weekly that Rocky V "didn't even belong in the series."
