Stallone Says He Has 'Nothing to Do' With 'I Play Rocky' Biopic
Sylvester Stallone distances himself from the Peter Farrelly-directed biopic about the making of Rocky, which premiered at TIFF, as he promotes his new memoir The Steps.
Sylvester Stallone is making it clear that he has no involvement in I Play Rocky, the upcoming biopic about the making of the 1976 film that launched his career. The actor said he has nothing to do with the movie, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Directed by Peter Farrelly, I Play Rocky stars Anthony Ippolito as a young Stallone. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this month.
Stallone is currently promoting his new memoir, The Steps, which is released on Tuesday. He also said he is trying to get Amazon to let him recut 1990's Rocky V.
