Star Trek: Deep Space Nine is returning with a new sequel novel titled The Peacemakers, written by Una McCormack and announced for release on November 17, 2026. The book is published by Pocket Books/Star Trek, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, according to Screen Rant.
The Peacemakers is set five years after the Dominion War, around 2378. The story follows Jake Sisko, who returns to Earth after a journey through the Gamma Quadrant. He travels to Cardassia Prime for an arts festival and later joins an archaeological expedition into the Cardassian desert.
The novel runs 320 pages and will be available as a trade paperback for $18.00 and an ebook for $13.99. An unabridged audiobook is also planned. Preorders for The Peacemakers are already available.
McCormack's Star Trek history
McCormack has previously written ten Star Trek novels, including The Never-Ending Sacrifice, The Crimson Shadow, and The Last Best Hope.
