The story is set after the events of A New Hope and deals with Princess Leia's grief over the destruction of Alderaan. It follows Leia, Luke Skywalker and Han Solo on a quest to find a secret weapons cache hidden by Bail Organa.
Gray is a familiar name to Star Wars readers. She previously wrote the novels Bloodline and Princess of Alderaan.
