Master Replicas Unveils Stargate SG-1 Serpent Guard Helmet Replica
The polyresin desktop piece, sculpted from the original props, is scheduled to launch in December 2026 as the first in a new Stargate line.
Master Replicas has announced a Stargate SG-1 Serpent Guard Helmet Desktop Replica, scheduled to launch in December 2026. The company describes it as the first entry in a new line of detailed Stargate desktop replicas, according to ScreenRant.
The piece reproduces the helmet worn by Apophis's Serpent Guard and is designed to resemble a cobra. Master Replicas says it was digitally sculpted after study of the original props, then cast in polyresin and painted. On its bespoke stand, the helmet stands just under 6 inches (15 cm) tall.
The company notes that the estimated arrival date is provisional and may change because of global logistics.
More Stargate pieces planned
Further replicas are lined up for the months after the Serpent Guard helmet, including the Jackal Guard helmet, the Destiny Gate replica, Thor's Ship Bilskirnir as a die-cast model, the Atlantis ZPM light-up replica, Ra's Pyramid from the film, the Destiny Starship and the Prometheus X-303.
Stargate began as a 1994 film directed by Roland Emmerich and written by Dean Devlin and Emmerich, with Kurt Russell and James Spader in the lead roles. It was originally planned as a trilogy, but the plan was dropped despite the film's box office success, and Stargate SG-1 was made as an official continuation with some details altered. Stargate Atlantis followed a few years later and helped launch Jason Momoa's career.
