MeTV Airs Svengoolie Halloween Double Feature Tonight
Invasion of the Body Snatchers makes its Svengoolie premiere before This Island Earth, hosted by The Sven Squad, on House of Svengoolie.
MeTV airs Svengoolie's Halloween BOO-nanza Double Feature tonight at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT, according to Bleeding Cool. The broadcast pairs the 1956 film Invasion of the Body Snatchers, making its Svengoolie premiere, with the 1955 film This Island Earth.
House of Svengoolie follows with This Island Earth, hosted by The Sven Squad rather than Svengoolie himself. The Sven Squad is played by Sarah Palmer, Bill Leff and Scott Gryder.
The broadcast includes segments such as Body-Snatching Bafflers, a new song, and previously unbroadcast C2E2 footage.
Svengoolie celebrates 47 years of portraying the horror host this year. On Saturday, October 3, and again on Halloween night, Svengoolie and the Sven Squad present Svengoolie Presents The Wizard of Oz, and on October 24 Svengoolie presents Frankenstein Meets Wolf Man (1943).
