Chris Pratt says The Terminal List season 3 is not official yet
Pratt told movieweb.com the team has ideas for more James Reece stories but wants to see how season 2 performs with audiences.
Chris Pratt said there is nothing official yet about a third season of The Terminal List, according to an interview with movieweb.com. The actor, who plays James Reece, said the team has many ideas and would like to keep telling the story if an audience exists for it.
Pratt tied the show's future to the performance of season 2, which was released in the week of the interview. Season 2 has drawn 57% from critics and 88% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.
He also pointed to the source material as a reason the series could continue. Jack Carr has written several James Reece books and is still producing more, so there is no shortage of novels to adapt. Among the books ahead is Savage Son, while Carr's upcoming book is Cry Havoc.
Season 2 was adapted from Carr's novel True Believer. Season 1 of The Terminal List premiered on June 30, 2022, and scored 42% from critics and 94% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes. Within two weeks of that premiere it reached number one on Prime Video's top ten, with 1.1 billion minutes viewed during its opening weekend.
