Prime Video released the first trailer for The Assassin Season 2, which premieres November 6 in the UK and Ireland.

Prime Video has released the first trailer for The Assassin Season 2 and set a November 6 launch date for the UK and Ireland, according to Deadline.

The trailer shows Julie teaming up with Edward after his honeymoon is hijacked and his wife Kayla is taken hostage.

Keeley Hawes, Freddie Highmore, Shalom Brune-Franklin and Devon Terrell return for the second season. New cast members include Arnaud Bindard, Natalia Tena, Boris Van Severen, Jacqueline Boatswain and Monic Hendrickx, along with Karl El-Santos, Mehdi Regragui, Casimiro Aguza, Tony Corvillo, Amin Hamada and Lolo Herrero.

Filming took place in Malta. Harry and Jack Williams are the writers and executive producers. Terry McDonough directed episodes 1-3, and Sarah O'Gorman directed episodes 4-6.

The Assassin is produced by Two Brothers Pictures for Prime Video UK and Ireland, ZDF in Germany and Stan in Australia in association with Banijay Rights. Banijay Rights is selling the season internationally outside the UK, Ireland, Germany and Australia; ZDF will air it in Germany and Stan will stream it in Australia.
