CMT Sets 2026 Return for Taylor Sheridan's The Last Cowboy
Season 7 of the documentary series about horse training and professional reining is confirmed for 2026, according to Collider.
CMT has set a premiere date for Season 7 of The Last Cowboy, the documentary series created and executive produced by Taylor Sheridan, with the new season set to arrive in 2026. Collider reported the announcement.
The series follows horse training and professional reining, and has been a recurring part of the network's schedule since its debut.
The renewal news arrives amid a busy and shifting calendar for Sheridan's other shows. Production on Season 3 of Landman was pushed back to a few weeks before the Collider report, and that season will not return until 2027.
Other Sheridan projects on the schedule
The fifth and final season of Mayor of Kingstown is set for release on January 15.
