Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey Gets November 17 Blu-ray Release

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has set a November 17 release date for Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray, according to Collider. Both formats will arrive on the same day.

The film is directed by Christopher Nolan and stars Matt Damon as Odysseus, Anne Hathaway as Penelope and Tom Holland as Telemachus. Zendaya and Jon Bernthal are also among the cast. Homer wrote the epic poem on which the film is based.

The home video announcement follows the film's theatrical run in the summer of 2026, when it earned more than $1.7 billion at the global box office and became the highest-grossing title in Nolan's filmography. That same summer, Spider-Man: Brand New Day was also a major box office hit.

Nolan's box office performance places him alongside other top-grossing directors. Steven Spielberg is the highest-grossing film director of all time with approximately $10.72 billion, while James Cameron has earned $9.80 billion from his work on Avatar and Anthony and Joe Russo have earned $6.76 billion for their work on Avengers: Endgame.
