The Witcher Season 5 Pushed to 2027, Final Season Delayed
Netflix's The Witcher season 5, the show's final season, is now expected in 2027 after being removed from the streamer's 2026 calendar.
Netflix's The Witcher season 5 is now expected to arrive in 2027, according to Screen Rant. The final season was removed from Netflix's 2026 calendar, pushing the show's conclusion beyond next year.
Production on season 5 wrapped in October 2025, so the delay is not due to filming. The shift means fans will wait longer for the last chapter of the fantasy series.
The Witcher first debuted on Netflix in 2019, and season 4 was released in 2025. Season 5 was initially included in Netflix's 2026 calendar before being removed.
Beyond the show, The Witcher IV is planned for a 2028 release, and the most recent Witcher novel, Crossroads of Ravens, was published in 2024. For now, the live-action series remains on track to end with season 5 in 2027.
