Trash's Revenge Becomes Linnea Quigley Documentary on DRagonFLIX

The planned Return of the Living Dead follow-up Trash's Revenge has been reworked into Trash's Revenge: The Linnea Quigley Story, a documentary about the horror actress's life and career, according to joblo.com. The film will stream exclusively on DRagonFLIX starting November 20, 2026.

Quigley played Trash in the 1985 Return of the Living Dead, directed by Dan O'Bannon. Beverly Randolph, her fellow cast member from that film, appears in the documentary.

A trailer for the documentary has also been released. According to joblo.com, it spoofs a competing Return of the Living Dead project.

From sequel to documentary

In 2024, Quigley announced she was working on a new Return of the Living Dead project called Trash's Revenge, developed by ROTLD Originals LLC and DRagonSTUDIOS, with Quigley producing and Randolph as associate producer.

That planned sequel was to bring back cast members Thom Mathews, Miguel A. Núñez Jr., John Philbin and Drew Deighan, alongside Eric Roberts and Michelle Bauer, with CGI recreations of the late James Karen and Don Calfa. Richard Driscoll was announced as writer and director.

Return of the Living Dead: Aftermath, another project from the same filmmakers and franchise veterans, was released on DRagonFLIX days before this announcement as a $19 digital package with 2D and two 3D versions plus bonus material. Its heavy use of AI-generated material drew criticism from horror fans and some Return of the Living Dead stars.
