Vision Gets Emerald and Gold Redesign in New VisionQuest Promo

Marvel Studios has released a promo video confirming a costume redesign for Vision in the upcoming series VisionQuest. The video shows the character in an updated emerald and gold suit, a departure from the look fans have known for years.

The same promo teases a fight sequence between Vision and Ultron, setting up a confrontation that has been building since the character's earliest appearances.

VisionQuest is scheduled to debut on Disney+ on October 14, 2026, with the first two episodes. Subsequent episodes will roll out weekly.

A Long-Awaited Change

Vision was introduced in 2015 in Avengers: Age of Ultron and wore the same integrated bodysuit across that film, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and WandaVision. The new emerald and gold design marks the first major visual overhaul for the character.

VisionQuest takes place after the 2021 miniseries WandaVision, following White Vision's journey. In trailers, White Vision created a Mindspace mansion with other AI avatars including J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., and Ultron. White Vision was built by the government using Vision's corpse and Wanda's chaos magic, and was last seen flying away from Westview after Hex Vision unlocked the original Vision's memories.

The series is the final chapter in the MCU's Westview trilogy, which began with WandaVision and continued through 2024's Agatha All Along. Paul Bettany, who joined the MCU in 2008 as the voice of J.A.R.V.I.S. and made his live-action debut as Vision in 2015, returns. Marvel Studios is also preparing for Avengers: Doomsday, set to debut on December 18, 2026. After VisionQuest, the third and final season of Daredevil: Born Again is the only live-action MCU series lined up, following the cancellation of Wonder Man.
