VisionQuest Set Years After WandaVision, Says Showrunner
Terry Matalas confirms VisionQuest takes place years after WandaVision and roughly concurrent with Spider-Man: Brand New Day in the MCU timeline.
VisionQuest showrunner Terry Matalas has confirmed that the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe series is set several years after WandaVision. In a new statement, Matalas said that years have passed in the MCU timeline since the events of WandaVision.
Matalas also revealed that VisionQuest is roughly concurrent with Spider-Man: Brand New Day. That places the series in the same general timeframe as the next Spider-Man film.
WandaVision debuted on Disney+ as the MCU's first TV show. Its finale saw White Vision restored and going into hiding. Agatha All Along later continued story threads from WandaVision.
WandaVision took place a few weeks after Avengers: Endgame, which was set in 2023. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is believed to take place in 2028. The exact placement of VisionQuest within that gap has yet to be fully detailed.
