VisionQuest Debuts Two Episodes on Disney Plus
Marvel's Disney Plus series VisionQuest follows White Vision and reveals Tommy Maximoff now exists in the real world.
The first two episodes of VisionQuest were released on Disney Plus on Tuesday night, introducing a new chapter for White Vision, played by Paul Bettany. According to Polygon, the Marvel series follows the rebuilt synthezoid after the events of WandaVision and Agatha All Along.
Episode 1 establishes that Tommy Maximoff exists in the real world outside Wanda's Hex. A bounty hunter named Paladin, played by Todd Stashwick, tracks down Vision's son in order to use him as bait.
In the series, Vision interacts with artificial intelligences J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y. and Ultron inside a mindscape.
Older threads behind VisionQuest
Between WandaVision and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Wanda Maximoff demonstrated how far grief could drive someone, and in Multiverse of Madness her primary goal was to reach another universe to reunite with her children Billy and Tommy.
Following Vision's death in Avengers: Infinity War, S.W.O.R.D. rebuilt the synthezoid as an emotionless weapon. In WandaVision, Hex Vision unlocked the rebuilt Vision's memories during their confrontation.
