Wandance Film Unveils RAN Character Stills as Iori Genshima

Character stills of RAN from the dance and vocal group MAZZEL in the live-action film Wandance have been released, cinemacafe.net reported. RAN plays Iori Genshima, a senior who recognizes the dance talent of the protagonist Kabo.
JO of &TEAM plays Kabo in what is his first film lead role. In the story, Iori is a nominal member of the dance team TEAM ON who pushes Kabo to take on a dance battle.
Director Naoya Kusaba said RAN's passion for dance was entirely genuine. RAN said he had read the original manga and feels many similarities between himself and Iori.
The film is an adaptation of the manga Wandance, which is serialized in Monthly Afternoon; its collected volumes have surpassed 1.3 million copies. The manga also received a TV anime adaptation that aired last year.
Wandance opens in Japanese cinemas on November 27, 2026.
