Warner Bros. Reportedly Still Developing Constantine 2
Deadline reports the sequel remains in development under Skydance Pictures co-chairs Dana Goldberg and Josh Greenstein, alongside other DC adaptations.
Warner Bros. is reportedly still developing Constantine 2, according to Deadline. The project is being developed under Skydance Pictures co-chairs Dana Goldberg and Josh Greenstein.
Constantine 2 is listed alongside other DC adaptations in early development, implying it is further along than those titles. Other Warner Bros. projects in development include Gremlins 3, set for an Oct. 6, 2028 release, and Game of Thrones: Aegon's Conquest, set for Jun. 1, 2029.
The original Constantine, directed by Francis Lawrence and starring Keanu Reeves as John Constantine, opened on Feb. 18, 2005, and grossed $230.9 million worldwide. It adapted the Hellblazer comic series from DC Comics' Vertigo imprint.
In 2022, Warner Bros. put Constantine 2 into development following Reeves' career renaissance thanks to John Wick. In February 2025, Reeves confirmed the project was moving forward.
