Whalefall Opens in US Theaters With No Post-Credits Scene
Brian Duffield's adaptation of Daniel Kraus's 2023 novel stars Austin Abrams and Josh Brolin and hits US cinemas on October 16.
Whalefall arrives in US theaters on October 16 without a post-credits, mid-credits or end-credits scene, according to comingsoon.net. Audiences who stay through the credits will not find any extra footage.
The film is directed by Brian Duffield and adapted from the 2023 novel of the same name by Daniel Kraus. Austin Abrams plays Jay Gardiner, with Josh Brolin as Mitt Gardiner, Elisabeth Shue as Zara Gardiner, John Ortiz as Hewey and Jane Levy as Eva Gardiner.
The absence of a credits scene marks a contrast with Street Fighter, which included a mid-credits scene, though that detail comes from earlier coverage rather than from Whalefall's release.
