Adobe and Nvidia expand partnership to speed up creative apps

Adobe tools will adopt Nvidia's RTX Spark superchip, with editing and effects processing up to 2x faster.

Adobe and Nvidia announced on October 19, 2026 an expansion of their partnership to optimize Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Substance 3D, Frame.io and Adobe Brand Concierge for Nvidia's AI hardware and software.

Under the plan, the Adobe applications will adopt Nvidia's RTX Spark superchip, which combines optimized unified memory with AI compute. According to the two companies, the change is said to raise speeds for AI processing, editing, color and effects by up to 2x.

Adobe Photoshop has been redesigned around GPU-accelerated compositing, which speeds up the Remove tool and effects. Adobe Premiere speeds up Enhance Speech and Object Mask processing, and Substance 3D Painter reduces texturing workload.

Frame.io adopts Nvidia video acceleration technologies including NVDEC and TensorRT, making embedding generation about 5x faster, improving P95 latency 4-5x and shrinking the search proxy by about 80%.

Adobe Brand Concierge is optimized using Nvidia Nemotron open models and is planned to be offered to enterprise customers within the year; Nvidia is also adopting the tool for customer support. Deepa Subramanian of Adobe and Jason Paul of Nvidia commented on performance gains in multimodal creative workflows, with Paul citing up to 2x performance improvement.

The two companies signed a strategic partnership in March 2026, which the new announcement strengthens, according to gamebiz.jp.
