Agasound AGA Z wired earphones launch October 23 from 52,800 yen
Ito-ya Kokusai will sell the brass-housed AGA Z in two versions, with the upgrade cable model priced at 59,800 yen.
Ito-ya Kokusai will release the Agasound AGA Z wired earphones on October 23, 2026, according to AV Watch. The standard cable version is priced at 52,800 yen, while the upgrade cable version costs 59,800 yen.
The housing is made of brass with jewelry-grade finishing and hand-brushed surfaces. The faceplate uses pure copper with a moon-surface texture engraving, bordered by a mirror-finished rose gold frame.
Inside, the AGA Z uses a 10mm single dynamic driver with the DMS2.2 dual magnetic circuit and a pure copper acoustic chamber. The diaphragm is a PEEK composite elastomer with new alloy powder, and the voice coil is an ultra-fine high-tensile CCAW coil. The housing and nozzle shapes were optimized based on ear canal scan data from Asian users.
Two cable options
Both models have a cable length of about 1.2m with 2Pin (CIEM) to 4.4mm connectors. The standard cable combines high-purity monocrystalline copper with silver-plated oxygen-free copper shielding and stainless steel hardware. The upgrade cable pairs monocrystalline copper with Furukawa PCUHD, adds aged copper shielding and uses hand-brushed engraved hardware.
Specifications list a frequency response of 10Hz to 20kHz, impedance of 19 ohms and sensitivity of 128dB. Accessories include an earphone case and six types of ear tips in S, M and L sizes.
