Background
The automatic chest compression robot recently won the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award, the grand prize, at a capstone design competition hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. President Yoo Gil-sang stated that the university requires capstone design as a graduation requirement and exhibits about 150 works per semester, selecting AI-related ones for display. Kwon Oh-young, head of the SW-centered university project group, said they plan to award scholarships to three teams among the seven graduation projects based on expert technical evaluation, visitor popularity voting, and corporate or institutional cooperation proposals.
