Olro, Skoopin and Shoport Bring AI Shopping to South Korea

Olro is preparing to launch comparison across 45 malls, while Skoopin already covers about 20 and Shoport recommends products from natural-language requests.

Three AI multi-shopping services are emerging in South Korea, each offering a different way for shoppers to search across multiple online malls, according to etnews.com.

Olro is preparing to launch an AI shopping service under the slogan "my own agent" that compares products across 45 shopping malls, including Coupang, Kurly, Musinsa, 29CM and Olive Young.

Skoopin currently offers AI product comparison across about 20 shopping malls, including Kurly, Musinsa, 29CM, Naver and Coupang. It recently expanded its search coverage to W Concept, EQL, SSF Shop, LF Mall and Auction.

Shoport takes a different approach: users enter desired conditions in natural language, and the AI asks follow-up questions to refine the requirements before recommending products rather than simply comparing listings.

Some of the services also analyze and summarize hundreds of thousands of product reviews collected from multiple platforms to inform their recommendations.
