AIVEX's AIVot wins gold at 2026 Science and Technology Innovation Awards

AIVEX announced that its AI robotics platform AIVot won the gold prize in the smart factory machine vision software category at the 20th Science and Technology Innovation Awards 2026, according to datanet.co.kr. The gold prize carries the Korea Technology Society president's award.

The company said it plans to supply AIVot in turnkey and vision module forms. It also intends to sell subscriptions to AIVOps and AIVData, along with AIVot licenses, to robot system integration (SI) companies.

CEO Seong Min-su said the company will advance unmanned automation of unstructured and multi-product processes using industrial physical AI.

Earlier deployments

AIVot has already been running in mass production at logistics sites, palletizing and depalletizing boxes, drums and mixed cargo recognized by 3D vision. At a food refrigeration facility it performs repalletizing by recognizing and sorting boxes and slip sheets on pallets.

AIVEX completed on-site verification in seven application areas, including removal of string, band and vinyl binding materials from secondary battery materials, material feeding and cart loading, and fastening of LNG ship insulation. It also completed a proof of concept at a finished-vehicle logistics site for anti-corrosion coating, recognizing underbody holes of export vehicles with structured light at ±0.1mm precision. In 2022, the company won the grand prize, the Minister of Science and ICT award, in the AI machine vision category for its deep learning-based inspection equipment turnkey solution.
