Amazon Launches $34.99 Kindle Click Remote
Amazon announced the Kindle Click, a $34.99 Bluetooth remote for page turns, plus a redesigned Kindle lineup and new accessories.
Amazon has announced the Kindle Click, a $34.99 Bluetooth remote that lets readers turn pages without touching their Kindle. The remote is compatible with all new Kindle devices and Kindle models released in 2024 and later.
Alongside the remote, Amazon announced a redesigned Kindle lineup featuring slimmer designs, zero bezels, and a lighter feel. The company says the new display is 30% faster at page turns than the previous generation.
Amazon also introduced a magnetic cover with physical page-turn buttons and a charging dock stand for the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition and Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition.
The move follows Rakuten Kobo's launch of its $29.99 Kobo Remote last year, as competition in e-reader accessories heats up. The Kindle Click and new accessories aim to enhance the reading experience for Kindle users.
