Amazon opens overseas gadget event in Tokyo; Shokz unveils JoJo earphones

Amazon opened a three-day experience event for overseas home appliances and gadgets at Tokyo Midtown Hibiya on October 16, 2026, with the event running until October 18, according to watch.impress.co.jp. Hours are 11:00 to 20:00 and admission is free.
Amazon said it is the first event where visitors can see, touch and try overseas-brand home appliances and gadgets sold on Amazon. Ten brands are exhibiting: Shokz, Rokid, Plaud, SwitchBot, ECOVACS, Roborock, BLUETTI, CASETiFY, FIFINE and Fanttik.
Visitors who try products and answer a survey can enter a lottery for an Echo Show 8 smart display and a Ring Indoor Cam Plus indoor security camera.
Shokz JoJo collaboration models
At the opening ceremony on the first day, a television personality appearing as a guest tried products from four brands. Shokz used the ceremony to unveil two collaboration models with the anime JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood.
The OpenRun Pro 2 Jonathan Joestar Model is priced at 27,880 yen and the OpenDots 2 Dio Brando Model at 29,880 yen. Both will be released in limited quantities from October 23 and are on display at the Shokz booth at the venue.
Amazon has held experience events timed to its major sales before, but this one focuses specifically on home appliances and gadgets; the event is being held ahead of its Prime Thankyou Sale.
