Google Rolls Out Android Canary 2610 With Wallpaper and Style Updates
Android Canary 2610 brings a revamped Wallpaper & style experience and several Pixel changes, plus WhatsApp support reportedly headed to HiLight.
Google has released the Android Canary 2610 build for developers and enthusiasts, according to Android Authority. The update brings a revamped Wallpaper & style experience and several other changes for Pixel phones.
The refreshed Wallpaper & style section is the most visible part of the Canary release, which Google uses to test changes before they reach wider Android builds.
The build also includes additional changes for Pixel devices, though Google has not detailed a full changelog.
Separately, support for WhatsApp message notifications appears to be coming to the Pixel 11 Pro's HiLight feature. That addition is not confirmed by Google, and the Canary build notes do not list it.
Canary releases are aimed at developers and early testers, so the features in Android Canary 2610 may change or be removed before any stable rollout.
