Anthropic brings full Claude platform to Google Cloud worldwide

Claude on Google Cloud is managed and operated by Anthropic, with billing consolidated into Google Cloud commitments and agent features included.

Anthropic began offering Claude on Google Cloud globally on October 22, with the service managed and operated by Anthropic itself, according to watch.impress.co.jp. The launch gives enterprise customers access to the full feature set of the Claude platform rather than a limited subset.

Billing is consolidated into Google Cloud, and usage draws from customers' existing Google Cloud commitments. The service runs with Google Cloud credentials and can be managed alongside corporate Google accounts.

The agent features available include Claude Managed Agents (beta), code execution, computer use, agent skills and the Advisor strategy (beta). Connection features cover the Files API, Citations, web search, web fetch and an MCP connector (beta).

Models on offer include Fast Mode of Claude Opus 5.5, Fable 5.1, Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5. Users can also reach the Claude Console development environment.

Existing option stays open

The previously available "Google managed" option remains selectable for customers who want Google Cloud as the data processor or who have strict data residency requirements. On October 21, OpenAI's models also became available on Google Cloud.
